From the Editor | A Battle for the Soul of America
On the 250th anniversary of its independence, America is embroiled in a war for its very soul. It is an existential conflict. If America loses, there will be nowhere left to flee — and no nation left to pass on to posterity the torch of liberty and Christian civilization. The stakes really are that high. And right now, if we are honest about it, America appears to be losing. But the demise of this providentially free and independent nation is not inevitable — provided that enough Americans awaken in time.
As Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu warned in The Art of War some 2,500 years ago, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” Unfortunately, too many Americans today know neither. Decades of dishonest government “education” and media propaganda have left Americans more ignorant than ever. It is a recipe for disaster and destruction.
For decades, this magazine has done more than any other to expose the organized enemies of America, liberty, and Christian civilization. In May of this year, on the 30-year anniversary of a Special Report by the same name, we published “Conspiracy for Global Control” documenting it all. As you read this letter, faithful readers and activists are busy distributing our “conspiracy” issue to opinion molders nationwide. One million copies is the goal.
