Politicized “Justice”

Justice Corrupted: How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System, by Ted Cruz, Washington, D.C.: Regnery Publishing, 2022, 233 pages, hardcover.

One of the most memorable passages in George Orwell’s Animal Farm is when the ruling pigs change the “commandment” of “All animals are equal” by adding “but some animals are more equal than others.” 

That sums up the situation we face in America today, as chronicled by Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in his new book Justice Corrupted: How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System. Senator Cruz is on the short list of the most conservative members of the U.S. Senate, and he has had a front-row seat to multiple examples of the basic thesis of his book — that the Left has largely captured our legal system, and is using it to advance its agenda.
