Popular Wrestler Breaks Make-A-Wish World Record
John Cena, actor and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar, has broken the Guinness World Record for the most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with 650 wishes granted, according to a September 20 announcement on the annual reference book’s website.
According to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes of children diagnosed with critical illness, no one else has granted more than 400 wishes in the organization’s 42-year history.
John Cena is the most requested celebrity, and has made the Make-A-Wish Foundation a top priority, helping Make-A-Wish Idaho grant its 1,000th wish in 2012.
