The Circus Continues
The ridiculous drama surrounding the adventures of Kilmar Abrego Garcia illustrates perfectly the ideological divide in this country.
Liberals see Garcia as a hardworking immigrant, a dedicated father, and the unfortunate victim of an overzealous Trump administration deportation policy and a cruel, hardline Salvadoran president.
Conservatives point out the fact that Garcia is an illegal immigrant, has a record of domestic abuse, and has definite links to the violent Salvadoran MS-13 gang. He was deported to El Salvador — his home country — where he was put in prison for his crimes.
