In Viral Video, Dutch Politician Warns of Tyrannical, COVID-1984-enabled Globalism

Thanks to the reaction to COVID-19, the machinery for tyranny is more firmly in place. In fact, the so-called disease-mitigation efforts have “been a practice to train obedience,” and now the “globalist plans can be carried out — and the next step towards mass surveillance and total control can be taken.”

So said Dutch politician Thierry Baudet, founder and leader of the Netherlands’ Forum for Democracy (FVD) party, in a viral video of a recent speech he gave before his nation’s parliament. In his five-minute talk, he even cited “a 2010 Rockefeller Foundation Report that laid out the pandemic and its aftermath, that is eerily like what the world has just experienced,” as the Gateway Pundit puts it.

It may raise eyebrows that such sentiments would come out of morally hollowed-out Holland, which is just about as politically correct as any other European nation. But Baudet isn’t your typical Dutchman.

For starters, he “had a classical education at Haarlem gymnasium (high school), which required him to learn both Latin and ancient Greek,” relates commentator Andrea Widburg. “In contrast, at Princeton, even classics majors will no longer be required to take Latin or Greek because it’s apparently systematically racist to require non-White people to master those languages.”

“At the University of Amsterdam, Baudet studied history, which may have left him conversant with his country’s own tolerant, freedom-based past,” Widburg continues. “He also has a Doctor of Philosophy, which was supervised in part by the late, brilliant Roger Scruton, a rigorous thinker who rejected the modern politically correct pieties in modern academia.”

And Baudet certainly wasn’t politically correct in his speech. As he stated at its conclusion:

I hope there will be a moment that we wake up. That we will realize this is a collective psychosis. That the locking down of the entire country, half the world for 1.5 years because of a flu variety is insane. That walking around with those silly useless masks is insanity. That we conform ourselves to those completely senseless distancing rules. That we see that our businesses, our social lives have been destroyed. That we have held back effective primary medicines such as Ivermectin, only to give those experimental injections the status of “approved vaccine” as soon as we could.

That we now ramble on about how ‘the infections are decreasing,’ when the exact same happened last year — as it does every year. And that it will happen against as autumn arrives and new infections occur. And now we pretend it happens because of COVID-19, all the while that the thing that we used to call the ‘flu’ has completely disappeared.

But most importantly, I hope that we realize that with the hysteria about this Chinese flu as the pretext, an entire infrastructure has been built, an infrastructure that can be used again at any moment, due to any occurrence. Lockdowns, masks, social distancing, no more traveling, no handshakes, ridiculous experimental jabs.

This COVID phase has been a practice to train obedience. Our parliament and the Rutte regime have passed this training with grace. Congratulations. Klaus Schwab [promoter of the “Great Reset”] will be proud of you. The globalist plans can be carried out — and the next step towards mass surveillance and total control can be taken .

Earlier in his speech, Baudet had cited the aforementioned 2010 Rockefeller Foundation report, which outlined an oddly familiar pandemic scenario. Relating this, Baudet said (either quoting or paraphrasing the report) that national “leaders all over the world would strengthen their power with laws, rules, and restrictions, from the requirement to wear masks to body temperature checks on entering train stations, planes, buildings.” (full five-minute video below).

Baudet continued to “quote from the document itself,” reports the RAIR Foundation USA, the entity that broke the story. “Here is a relevant portion (Page 19) — keep in mind this was published in 2010”:

China’s government was not the only one that took extreme measures to protect its citizens from risk and exposure. During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules and restrictions, from the mandatory wearing of face masks to body-temperature checks at the entries to communal spaces like train stations and supermarkets.

Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified. In order to protect themselves from the spread of increasingly global problems — from pandemics and transnational terrorism to environmental crises and rising poverty — leaders around the world took a firmer grip on power.

At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval. Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty — and their privacy — to more paternalistic states in exchange for greater safety and stability.

At this point some readers’ hair may be standing on end. To add perspective, though, just as militaries will explore war-game scenarios, governments and other entities will game-out other scenarios as well. The question is what their motives are and whether what they’re prescribing augments the common good.

What’s for certain is that the China virus situation is being used to advance political agendas. This claim is often called a “right-wing conspiracy theory,” but note here that leftist Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted this himself in late September while speaking to the United Nations. “This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset,” he unabashedly stated. “This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to re-imagine economic systems” (video below; relevant portion begins at 2:05).

What’s also for certain is that the globalists hit pay dirt with the pandemic. They’d tried using other tactics to increase their power, but their success was limited. The “global warming” boogeyman was (and is) one of those efforts, as leftists will occasionally admit during honest moments. (E.g., Saikat Chakrabarti, chief of staff for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), reportedly said in early 2019, “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is, it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.… Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”) But climate change was too abstract and distant as a threat to really make people sit up and take notice.

But a communicable disease — something deadly we supposedly could catch at any moment — really gets people where they live. It evokes intense fear, especially within a secular, materialistic population — and fearful people are easy to control.
