For the second time in about a week, hundreds of U.S. House Democrats showed that illegal aliens are “the people we care about most.”

Of those present, 70 percent voted against South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace’s bill to deport illegal-alien rapists.

Democrats’ solid vote to keep the rapists in the country followed another one last week against the Laken Riley Act. That would target illegal-alien petty criminals for deportation, booting out the perverts and rapists among them.

The Bill

Mace’s bill, H.R. 30, amended the Immigration and Nationality Act to declare “any alien who has been convicted of, who admits having committed, or who admits committing acts which constitute the essential elements of a sex offense, or a conspiracy to commit such an offense” as inadmissible.

The bill, which passed 274-145, includes stalkers, wife-beaters, child abusers and molesters, and those who violate protection orders.

Sixty-one Democrats, to their credit, thought the bill was a no-brainer.

But again, a whopping 145 voted against deporting illegal alien rapists, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Somali agent-of-influence Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and 14 other Democrats didn’t vote.

Among the Democrats who voted for sanity were Texans Vicente Gonzalez and Henry Cuellar. Both congressmen also voted for the bill to ban “transgender women” from women’s sports.

South Carolina’s Mace, who sponsored the bill, said the vote sends a message to the girls and women whom illegal aliens routinely target for rape and murder.

“So 145 Democrats voted against the bill,” Mace said:

And I abhor anyone on the left in this country who doesn’t want to protect women and girls who are victims of rape, who are victims of pedophilia, the murderers who are here illegally. We absolutely must deport them. And we must never let them back in our country. And that is the message we sent to American women and girls this morning.

Not the First Time

The 145 Democrat votes to keep illegal-alien rapists in the country was no surprise.

On January 7, 159 Democrats voted against the Laken Riley Act to detain and deport petty criminals.

The bill targets that unwelcome demographic because Riley’s murderer, Jose Ibarra, was arrested for shoplifting before he murdered her. With his criminal brothers, on President Joe Biden’s long-standing orders, Ibarra was “paroled” into the country after he was caught jumping the southwest border with Mexico.

Then too, Omar, Pressley, and Ocasio-Cortez voted to protect the criminals.

Last week’s vote against protecting women was the second time the vast majority of Democrats voted against the bill. They voted against it in March 2024, too. The vote was worse then: 170 voted against protecting women from illegal-alien sex fiends.

“Say. Her. Name.” That’s what Mace wrote on X over a similar post from Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana.

“Sadly, if these Democrats have their way, there will be more victims like Laken Riley,” Johnson wrote.

Bills Should Pass Senate

Both bills should easily pass the GOP-controlled Senate, which voted 70-25 yesterday to amend the Laken Riley Act, The Hill reported.

John Cornyn of Texas’ amendment would add illegals who attack law enforcement officers to the list of thugs who will be detained and sent packing.

Other amendments are expected as well, including one from Joni Ernst of Iowa, The Hill continued.

Ernst’s amendment will add illegals charged or convicted of bodily injury to the list of those detained and deported.

Though Democrats in the Senate don’t seem to be as radical as those in the House, one top Democrat, Christopher Murphy of Connecticut, is clear about the party’s long-term priorities when it comes to illegals.

Murphy firmly told far-left MSNBC’s Chris Hayes last year that Democratic strategy on immigration has failed for two decades.

The party, he said, “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.”

Millions of real Americans wondered what an “undocumented American” is.

In September, Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported that almost 450,000 illegal-alien criminals and 227,000 illegal-alien criminal suspects are roaming American streets.

More than 13,000 are murderers, and more than 25,000 are sex fiends … the rapists and child molesters whom 145 Democrats voted to keep in the country.
