There is a simple fact relating to the coronavirus that’s as liberating as it is damning: COVID-19 is treatable.
COVID-19 has always been treatable.
And the assertion that integral to the treatment is ivermectin — a tried and true medication dismissed by media as a “horse de-wormer” — has been vindicated, again, this time by Japanese researchers.
What’s more, says one writer, authorities such as Dr. Anthony Fauci who suppressed this truth based on ulterior motives “must be put in the dock and tried for crimes against humanity.”
The Epoch Times reports on the research:
A Japanese conglomerate has found that the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin is effective and safe for the treatment of the coronavirus Omicron variant, according to a phase III clinical trial.
Kowa Co. Ltd., a conglomerate with interests in trading, hospitality, and electronics, along with health and medical applications, issued a press release (pdf) on Jan. 31 stating that ivermectin has been found to be effective against Omicron.
… The company, working with Kitasato University based in Tokyo, said that ivermectin has the “same antiviral effect” on all “mutant strains,” including Alpha, Delta, and Omicron. Kowa added that ivermectin suppresses invasion of the virus and inhibits its replication.
In fact and as alluded to earlier, there’s long been a huge body of evidence pointing to ivermectin’s SARS-CoV-2 utility. Just consider a scientific review of worldwide studies published in the May-June edition of the American Journal of Therapeutics. Its conclusion reads:
Meta-analysis [examination of data from a number of relevant independent studies] based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis [preventative] trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of ivermectin. Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified.
Translation: Ivermectin works.
Moreover, the website for the group “Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance Prevention & Treatment Protocols for COVID-19” reports that “there have been a total of 56 [ivermectin] trials involving 469 scientists and 18,447 patients,” related the World Tribune last year.
These studies have shown, according to the Tribune, that ivermectin yields
- an 85 percent improvement in prevention when taken prior to exposure to SARS-CoV-2;
- a 78 percent and 46 percent patient improvement when given, respectively, early and late in the disease’s course; and
- a 74 percent decrease in mortality.
Then there’s my personal testimonial. As I’ve mentioned in the past, two people close to me with advanced and frightening China virus symptoms experienced immediate relief after taking ivermectin.
So why, then, has the drug been treated like the black sheep of the medicine family? American Thinker reminded us Tuesday, writing that because
COVID appeared in America during an election year, Democrats and other leftists could not allow Trump to deal with it successfully. That meant they had to slap down any possible treatments and keep the focus on ruinous lockdowns, ineffectual masks, and chimerical vaccines. Any early treatments were dismissed as poisonous. Instead, we were told there was nothing to be done about COVID until we were near death, at which point going to the hospital might save us — especially if we got incredibly expensive, toxic, minimally effective Remdesivir.
…Then, when word began to emerge from Africa, Latin America, and India that ivermectin, a truly magical anti-parasitical that has changed life across the third world for the better, the establishment instantly tagged it as a “horse dewormer.” And once again, Americans were denied a safe, effective early treatment for COVID.
Mind you, these medicines weren’t just subject to derision. The FDA refused to authorize them for COVID treatment. Vast HMOs, usually headed by leftists, also refused to allow them to be used in an off-label way. Not only did Meryl Nass, a physician in Maine, have her license suspended for prescribing ivermectin and HCG, but the medical board demanded that she undergo a psychiatric evaluation to get it back.
One effect of this was to perpetuate destructive China virus regulations. Consider: When discussing why so many people still support such restrictions, often discussed are human psychological phenomena such as “mass formation.” But another factor is simpler:
Many people are afraid.
It’s not surprising. Imagine how you might react if you believed that currently circulating was a highly communicable, deadly disease (yes, COVID’s mortality has been exaggerated, too) for which there is no cure. Knowing it’s treatable makes all the difference.
And not just in attitude, but bodies. American Thinker writes that the demonization of early treatments will “go down as the greatest slaughter of Americans since the Civil War.” Opining similarly, renowned COVID physician Dr. Peter McCullough has said that an early embrace of proper treatment protocols could have saved 85 percent of those who’ve died from the virus. And critical-care physician Dr. Pierre Kory lamented last spring, “It’s criminal; it’s literally criminal.” Ivermectin “could have saved half a million lives this year if it had been approved.”
This is why American Thinker writes that those “most responsible for denying treatment to Americans (I’m looking at you, Dr. Fauci) must be put in the dock and tried for crimes against humanity.”
Of course, this is likely one reason Branch COVIDian officials are afraid to abandon the con. As Benito Mussolini’s fate showed, people aren’t always kind upon learning their demigods are demagogues who authored not safety, but death.
