Trans Regret: After Double Mastectomy, Girl Says “I Want to Crawl Out of My Skin”

“You fundamentally can’t change sex,” said Australian “transsexual” Alan Finch in 2004. “Transsexualism was invented by psychiatrists.” Tragically, Finch has more and more company in learning this lesson the hard way. One of the latest is a girl who, after a double mastectomy, laments, “My scars are so large and I want to crawl out of my skin.… I wish I could go back.”

As Big League Politics reports:

A mutilated girl’s lament is going viral as she regrets her gender transition and is questioning a system that allowed her to make such a ghastly and gruesome mistake.

“Today is 5 years since my double mastectomy. I didn’t think it would hit me this hard but it’s really tough to deal with. My scars are so large and I want to crawl out of my skin,” she wrote.

The … girl is outraged at a system that encouraged her to make these decisions and lied to her so she would adopt the depraved lifestyle of delusion.

“I can’t believe I was allowed as a child to have this procedure. No one could have prepared me for the reality of it. I was promised sunshine and rainbows. Happiness. All my sadness and gender dysphoria would go away. Of course a kid who was miserable would take that immediately,” she wrote.

Part of the girl’s testimony is presented in the tweet below.

The girl’s story is reminiscent of that of “Nathaniel.” Having had MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status) surgery a month after his 18th birthday — including, of course, his genitalia’s removal — he not a year later, in 2019, called the mutilation a “Frankenstein” transition that has “ruined” his life.

Then there’s Keira Bell, who last year sued the clinic that enabled her MUSS transition at age 16. She calls her desires to “change” sex a teen a “fantasy” that should have been “challenged” by the medical practitioners.

It isn’t just adolescents having these regrets, either. Consider late Los Angeles Times sportswriter Mike Penner. After announcing in 2007 that he would return from a vacation as “Christine Daniels” and then becoming a MUSS agenda activist, he decided to de-transition the next year and reclaim his old Penner byline. But he could not reclaim his sanity.

He committed suicide in 2009.

An even sadder story is that of Belgian Nancy Verhelst, who was distraught after genital-mutilation surgery, saying she felt more a “monster” than a man. But her government had a solution for her cheaper and quicker than de-transitioning. At her request, they murdered her under Belgium’s euthanasia laws.

These all-too-common stories are unsurprising. A 2014 poll showed that even 65 percent of people who’ve had cosmetic surgery — which is relatively minor body alteration — later regret the decision. As Courtney Love put it regarding her lip-enhancement procedure, “I just want the mouth God gave me back.”

Yet many regretful MUSS individuals are afraid to open their mouths. Reporting on how the scope of MUSS de-transition desires is hidden, the Federalist’s Stella Morabito wrote in 2014, “The transgender lobby actively polices and suppresses discussion of sex-change regret, and claims it’s rare (no more than ‘5 percent.’). However, if you do decide to ‘de-transition’ to once again identify with the sex in your DNA, talking about it will get you targeted by trans activists.”

This is reminiscent, do note, of how the homosexual lobby has viciously attacked grown children of same-sex couples all because these people now oppose same-sex child-rearing, which I reported on in 2014.

And this hasn’t changed, of course. While there are now individuals and entities devoted to helping the large number of young people experiencing MUSS-transition regret, WND.com reports that sexual devolutionary “activists are fighting the movement aggressively.” The site continued:

In Britain, a psychotherapist was banned by his university from studying cases of people who have surgery to reverse gender reassignment.

James Caspian, 61, a counselor with 10 years of experience in therapy for transgender individuals, is taking his case to the European Court of Human Rights.

…“Too much is at stake for academic freedom and for hundreds, if not thousands, of young people who are saying that they are being harmed and often silenced by a rigid view that has become a kind of transgender ideology and permits no discussion,” Caspian said in a statement released by his lawyers.

“My preliminary research had revealed a growing controversial schism in transgender politics and inpatient experiences which greatly concerned me and confirmed the need for this research. Some of the people I spoke to said they were too traumatized to speak about their experiences, which proved it was even more important to research the issue, not less.”

The Western Journal also has documented cases of regret.

It profiled a new documentary promoting transgenderism, and the Journal’s Caleb Shumate noted his own anger at the continual push to normalize such procedures.

The children — transgender — featured in the documentary were ages 4, 7, 12 and 15.

“Three of the children are far too young even to begin to think about sex or what gender they are,” [Shumate said].

MUSS activists fight their opposition with an iron fist because they lack iron facts. That is to say, the people fond of shouting “Follow the science!” have no good science behind their agenda.

In fact, the diagnosis used to justify MUSS transition, called “gender dysphoria,” is made based only on the presence of strong and persistent feelings of “cross-gender identification” lasting more than six months. That’s it. There’s no blood test for gender dysphoria, no genetic test, no brain scan, no physiological marker at all indicating that at issue is anything but a psychological problem.

It’s a bit like telling a cardiac surgeon you have strong and persistent feelings that you have heart disease, and on this basis alone — without performing any medical exam confirming the condition — his saying, “Okay, well, then I’ll cut open your chest and perform a bypass!”

The reality is, as former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital Dr. Paul McHugh put it echoing Alan Finch, “’Sex change’ is biologically impossible. People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women. Claiming that this is civil-rights matter and encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.”

MUSS “transition” is malpractice — and child abuse. Those encouraging it should be named, shamed, and, when possible, sued into oblivion.
