Antony Sutton, in his remarkable expose of Skull and Bones, the secret senior society at Yale, wrote that a conspiracy, to be considered as such, must be comprised of three facets: “There must be secret meetings of the participants and efforts made to conceal their joint actions; those meetings must jointly agree to take a course of action; and this action must be illegal.” He then went on to use his skills as an historian, scientific researcher, and detective to reveal that the Skull and Bones society at Yale University was and is indeed a conspiracy.
Sutton then went on to write one of the most incredible books on American history ever written, America’s Secret Establishment, published in 1986. He summed up its intent by stating: “What has to be proven in any conspiracy explanation of history is that the participants have secret groupings, and meet to plan illegal actions.”
He then used the scientific method to prove the existence of this conspiracy. First he posited a hypothesis, or theory, that the conspiracy exists. He then explained further:
We also intend to use two other principles of scientific research ignored by official establishment historians.
Firstly, in science the simplest explanation to a problem is always the most acceptable solution. By contrast, in establishment history, a simple answer is usually criticized as “simplistic.”. . .
Secondly, again in science, an answer that fits the most cases, i.e., the most general answer is also the most acceptable answer. For example, you have 12 events to explain and a theory that fits 11 of these events. That theory is more acceptable than a theory that fits only 4 or 5 of the events.
It is this meticulous regard for truth and accuracy that has made Sutton’s work so outstanding and useful to the average American citizen who wants to know what is behind many of the events in politics, education, and the media that seem to make no sense. And he advises caution in the use of the word “conspiracy.” For example, many patriots consider the Council on Foreign Relations to be a conspiracy. But Sutton writes:
Members of the CFR, when accused of being involved in a conspiracy, have protested to the contrary. And by and large they are right. Most CFR members are not involved in a conspiracy and have no knowledge of any conspiracy. And some personally known to the author are about the last people on earth to get involved in an illegal conspiracy.
However, there is a group within the Council of Foreign Relations which belongs to a secret society, sworn to secrecy, and which more or less controls the CFR. CFR meetings are used for their own purposes, i.e., to push out ideas, to weigh up people who might be useful, to use meetings as a forum for discussion.
The same thing can probably be said of the Bilderberg meetings. The attendance lists are not made public, and what is said at the meetings is confidential. But obviously there is a group among the attendees who are involved in a conspiracy to advance policies that are illegal. One of the major participants in those meetings has been David Rockefeller, who admitted in his memoirs his role as an active internationalist. He wrote (p.405):
Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as “internationalists” and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure—one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty and I am proud of it.
As far as David Rockefeller is concerned, trying to achieve this vague idea of “one world” is not an illegal conspiracy. Indeed, the United States has not yet surrendered its sovereignty to a world government and is unlikely to do so considering the make-up of the United Nations.
But now there appears to be another secret cabal, known as the Shadow Party, controlled by radical billionaire George Soros who operates secretly to influence the direction our government is going in. He has boldly proclaimed his intentions, so they are not secret. But how he controls events in Washington is another story. We suspect that he is behind Barack Obama’s presidency and that the intimate relationship between the President and Soros has been kept pretty much a secret.
There is no doubt that The Shadow Party, a cabal of socialists, has used secrecy to take control of the Democratic Party. They advance socialism without using the word socialist. Of course, it is not illegal to be a socialist in America. But is it illegal to use deceptive methods to impose on the American people socialist policies that are changing their lives for the worse?
For decades the Progressives have been advancing socialism in American public schools without actually calling it socialism. John Dewey and his colleagues were all socialists and made no secret of their intent to take over the public schools and use them as the means of converting America from an individualist society to a socialist one. There have been meetings among Progressive educators, some of them secret, in which they planned to socialize America. Is it illegal to engage in activities aimed at eventually destroying the form of government set up by the Constitution of the United States?
Educators do not take an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States. George Soros wants to rewrite the American Constitution. Is it legal for him to try to convince the American people that the Constitution needs to be rewritten? It is legal, but is it honest? Is it going to benefit the people of the United States?
The key element in conspiracies is deception. But deception in politics is a way of life. It is not illegal unless it leads to an illegal act. We call that corruption, and politicians have gone to jail for that.
Conspiracies go back to ancient times. There was a conspiracy among good men in Rome to assassinate Julius Caesar because they feared he would become a dictator. The story is told very well in Shakespeare’s play. In Germany during World War II, there was a conspiracy of good men to kill Adolf Hitler, which failed and caused the conspirators their lives. That was a good conspiracy planned by men of moral character who wanted to get rid of an evil dictator. Had they succeeded the war would have ended sooner and many lives would have been saved.
And there are among members of Skull and Bones those who believe that the society’s aims are honorable and that it basically is a benevolent organization which has benefitted America. But if that is so, why did it have to maintain such secrecy? Secrecy infers that you have something to hide. Good citizens hide things from tyrannical governments. But why do supposedly good citizens hide things from a benevolent government? What is the purpose of their secrecy?
Most readers of The New American are familiar with the Illuminati conspiracy that was launched by Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776, at Ingolstadt, Germany. It was exposed by Robison’s book, Proofs of a Conspiracy, published in 1798 and is available at Amazon.com or as a downloadable PDF. The aim of the conspiracy was the destruction of the monarchies in Europe and the creation of a utopian government. Their influence fueled the French Revolution in which King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette were beheaded and an anti-Christian regime under the Goddess of Reason was established. It all came to naught when Napoleon Bonaparte became dictator of France.
The earliest conspiracy I know of in the United States was created by the Owenite socialists who wanted to convert America into an anti-Christian communist society. Its leader, Robert Owen, a self-styled secular messiah, came to America in 1825 to set up an experimental communist colony. He purchased a village in Indiana named Harmonie, founded in 1813, by a primitive sect of Christians known as Rappites. Thus was born the New Harmony experiment.
It drew a great many would-be communists, but after two years failed. Owen attributed the failure to the fact that people educated under the individualistic-religious system could not become true communists. What was needed, he argued, was a government education system that would mold the children into little communists. But because he knew that Americans would reject such a system if organized by atheist Owenites, it was decided to create a secret organization that would promote the idea. One of the members of that secret organization, Catholic convert Orestes Brownson, later wrote in his autobiography:
The great object was to get rid of Christianity, and to convert our churches into halls of science. The plan was not to make open attacks on religion, although we might belabor the clergy and bring them into contempt where we could, but to establish a system of state — we said national — schools, from which all religion was to be excluded, in which nothing was to be taught but such knowledge as is verifiable by the senses, and to which all parents were to be compelled by law to send their children. . . . The first thing to be done was to get this system of schools established. For this purpose, a secret society was formed, and the whole country was to be organized somewhat on the plan of the carbonari of Italy, or as were the revolutionists throughout Europe by Bazard [Socialist founder of a secret society in France] preparatory to the revolutions of 1820 and 1830.
According to Brownson, the conspiracy began its clandestine campaign in 1829 in New York City and achieved great success. “The views we put forth have gained great popularity, and the whole action of the country on the subject has taken the direction we sought to give it.”
In other words, Brownson demonstrated how a small group acting in secrecy could manipulate an entire nation to implement the group’s aims. And that is how the people of the United States have been manipulated into accepting a socialist president and regime in Washington.
The public schools, of course, now exclude any mention of Christianity from its curriculum. It took over a hundred years for communists in America to achieve their goal. And they did it with the help of the Skull and Bones order. Sutton’s book, How the Order Controls Education tells the story in great detail.
But what the American people must learn is that the struggle against socialism and communism in this country will never stop. Should Americans vote for a Republican president and Congress in November 2012, you can be sure that the socialists will fight them tooth and nail. They will intensify the class war, and use every trick in the book to vilify and destroy their opponents.
Freedom has its enemies. And the freest nation is history has been assaulted by its enemies from its earliest days. They have used deception and conspiracy as their chief tools. That is why the truth need be told over and over again, and that is why the education of American children must be rescued from its present evil controllers. But only awakened, concerned parents have the power to do that.
And we haven’t even mentioned the Muslim Brotherhood that wants to islamicize America!
