The rapid spread of “woke” ideology and its associated understandings of morality, sexuality, oppression, and other key issues threatens to produce a catastrophe for humanity and especially the West, warned Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies Carl Trueman in this interview on Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman. Trueman, an ordained minister and author of several critical books on these topics, is optimistic that if humanity pushes back, over the long term, much of this can be fixed. But in the short term, trouble is looming.
