C. Mitchell Shaw, a regular contributor to The New American, joins Dr. Duke Pesta to discuss the topic of Mitchell’s Article, “Parler Purge Opens a Whole New Can of Worms”. After the Capitol Building breach, Big Tech snuffed out Donald trumps remaining social media accounts. Then Google, Apple, and Amazon make it their own will to burn down Parler, a social media outlet meant to be an alternative to those that condemn free speech. The excuse is that they are monitoring hate speech, but regardless it is still free speech. Duke points out that, like other monopolies, competitors are being “crushed under their boot heel”. C. Mitchell Shaw says “it’s normally the Government’s boot heel” that squashes it, but Big Tech like Facebook and Twitter are “the information arm” of the American Government.
