Veteran Firefighter Faces Termination for Refusing Covid Shot

In a recent development, veteran firefighter John Knox, who dedicated more than two decades to the Los Angeles Fire Department, has been removed from his position due to his refusal to comply with the city’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate. This decision has sparked disappointment and condemnation from various quarters, including Dr. Amy Bohn, co-founder and president of the Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids (PERK) organization, who is known for her vocal advocacy for medical freedom.

Knox, a firefighter paramedic and board member of the Firefighters4Freedom, has become a central figure in a legal battle against the City of Los Angeles over its vaccine mandates. Since its establishment in September 2021, Firefighters4Freedom has assembled a formidable legal team, including prominent figures such as John Howard, Scott Street, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Together, they have initiated two major lawsuits against the City of Los Angeles, demanding damages totaling $2.1 billion, according to the Let’s Go podcast.

Dr. Amy Bohn, who attended a Board of Rights hearing for Knox, took to X to criticize the decision of the Board of Rights for its apparent disregard for the evidence and testimonies presented in Knox’s defense. According to Dr. Bohn, Knox has been without pay for more than 725 days due to his stance against the experimental Covid-19 injection. She condemned the decision to remove Knox, stating it was making an example out of him and emphasizing the importance of protecting individual rights, even during times of emergency.

Dr. Bohn strongly asserted that emergency declarations do not supersede human rights, arguing against coercion and force in medical procedures. She criticized the hearing process, claiming it dismissed substantial evidence and character witness testimonials, turning the proceedings into what she described as a “joke.” The case of John Knox is seen as emblematic of a larger struggle against government overreach in the enforcement of public-health measures.
