Harry Reid Says Government Has Covered Up UFOs for Years in New Documentary

Is the truth out there? Harry Reid thinks so.

The former House majority/minority leader appeared in a new documentary, The Phenomenon, claiming that the U.S. government has evidence of possible closer encounters with unidentified flying objects but has been keeping it secret for years.

The prominent Democrat, now 80, said in the documentary (which also includes conversations with former presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford, as well as long-time Clinton ally John Podesta and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson) that “there’s more than one up there” and even believes UFOs may have interfered with American weapons.

Asked if he was saying that “there’s some evidence that still hasn’t seen the light of day,” Reid insisted, “I’m saying most of it hasn’t seen the light of day.”

“We have it — it’s there,” continued the former Nevada senator, who instigated secret UFO programs in the Pentagon.

“They did everything they could to stop the program from going forward.… They wanted nothing to do with this,” Reid said of the government’s resistance to his program trying to expose the truth.

“Nobody has to agree why it’s there. But shouldn’t we at least be spending some money to study all these phenomena? Shouldn’t we study this stuff? The answer is yes. That’s all this was about.

“And why the federal government all these years has covered up, put brake pads on everything, stopped it. I think it’s very, very bad for our country,” Reid said.

The makers of the documentary describe it as the “most credible and revealing film ever made” about UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).

Lue Elizondo, former director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, called it “the most accurate and informative documentary ever made about UAPs.”

Numerous officials make appearances in the film, including various people who claim to have experienced their own close encounters.

“These things are real, they’re here — this is happening now,” former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Christopher Mellon told the filmmakers.

Back in April, the Pentagon officially released three short videos showing “unidentified aerial phenomena” that had previously been released by a private company.

The videos show what appear to be unidentified flying objects moving rapidly while recorded by infrared cameras. Two of the videos feature service members reacting awestruck at how fast the objects are moving. One voice speculates that it might be a drone.

The Navy had previously acknowledged the veracity of the videos in September of 2019. They officially released them in April “in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos,” according to Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough.

“After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems,” said Gough in a statement, “and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

The synopsis on The Phenomenon’s website describes the film as:

Director James Fox’s explosive documentary is being hailed as the most credible and revealing film ever made about the long-standing global cover-up and mystery involving unidentified aerial phenomenon. Including shocking never-before-seen testimony from high-ranking government and military officials, NASA Astronauts, and riveting footage, the timely film includes bombshell reveals about UAP incursions at nuclear weapon facilities and the monumental events behind the NY Times’ recent disclosure of UFO videos and The Pentagon’s classified UFO Program.

Along similar lines, retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Steven L. Kwast alluded in a lecture last year that the United States government already possesses secret technology that makes science fiction a reality. That supposedly includes technology that can transport a human anywhere on earth within an hour.

“The nature of power, you either have it and your values rule or you do not have it and you must submit. We see that play out again and again in history and it’s playing out now,” Kwast said referring to China’s current plan to dominate space innovation by 2049.

Are there extraterrestrials? Or do world governments possess some highly advanced technology the public is yet to be aware of? It’s hard to say, but Harry Reid, Bill Clinton, and John Podesta probably aren’t the most reliable sources of information.
