Republicans: If GOP Retakes Capitol Hill in November, Expect Impeachment Over Biden’s Border Treason

GOP Representative Andy Biggs of Arizona says the party’s leaders on Capitol Hill must start preparing to impeach President Biden now should they retake the House and Senate in November’s midterm elections.

The reason: Biden’s importing hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and dumping them into the American heartland.

And Biden won’t be Biggs’ only target. He also wants to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the Cuban visa fraudster who refuses — at Biden’s direction of course — to enforce immigration laws.

But Biggs, who offered the assessment on Breitbart’s Sirius XM radio program, isn’t the only Republican of late to discuss impeachment vis-à-vis Biden’s border treason. So has Representative Claudia Tenney of New York, along with Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

Working Groups Ordered

“Mayorkas has violated the law,” Biggs told Breitbart guest host Mary Walter. “That’s why I’ve introduced a resolution to impeach Mayorkas.”

But the GOP must target Biden as well “for what he’s done on the border,” the congressman continued:

What he’s done on the border, and the ramification of what he’s done on the border, makes him impeachable. So I’ve asked [and] encouraged leadership to put together a set of working groups to create investigative committees. We need to be preserving evidence now — preparing now — so that when we come to power in January, when we have the majority, we can begin with the investigations — and where necessary — the impeachments. They need to be held accountable for what they’ve done.”

Biggs has also introduced resolutions to impeach Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken “because they’ve all committed high crimes and misdemeanors.” But the key point of an impeachment will be the border, and Biden’s migrant-dumping program.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is busing and flying illegals around the country and dumping them into unsuspecting communities.

“ICE Air,” Biggs told Walter, includes “six or seven airplanes actually owned by the federal government that transport illegal aliens all over the country, and then sometimes back to their home country.”

“You do have some NGOs that are paying for bus tickets and other transportation, as well,” Biggs continued:

The taxpayers are basically subsidizing everybody that’s going, and you know what? If you go on a commercial flight, you’re going to see these folks as well.

Breitbart reported yesterday that the regime has spent $340 million to fly illegals into the country in just nine months.

Other Impeachment Calls

“More evidence for the records,” Tenney tweeted last week over video of an illegal-alien dumping operation. “Joe Biden must be impeached for this disgrace.”

Speaking to Fox News talker Laura Ingraham, Cotton also said Biden’s refusal to enforce immigration law is a reason to impeach.

I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility because of all of the abuses of the Biden administration. I think what the Department of Homeland Security has done to undermine American sovereignty, to open up our borders to undercut wages and jobs for American workers is probably the most egregious … and they’re open about it. [DHS] Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has said it in speeches … that being illegally present in the country is no longer even a priority for deportation. They admit these things publicly.

On his podcast in early January, Verdict with Ted Cruz, the Texas senator warned that the Democrats had “weaponized impeachment” when they twice impeached President Trump.

“They used it for partisan purposes to go after Trump because they disagreed with him,” Cruz said:

One of the real disadvantages of doing that is the more you weaponize it and turn it into a partisan cudgel, you know, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

But unlike the Democrats, the GOP has good reason to impeach: “the utter lawlessness of President Biden’s refusal to enforce the border.”

Continued Cruz:

His decision to just defy federal immigration laws and allow 2 million people to come here unimpeded in direct contravention of his obligation under Article Two of the Constitution to take care that the laws be faithfully executed.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced articles of impeachment last year. They too were tied to Biden’s purposely undermining immigration law.

Three Republicans joined Biggs in filing articles of impeachment in September.
