President Joe Biden wants to send $10 billion to Ukraine to defend its borders, a letter from the Office of Management and Budget to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says.
And, as Breitbart News reported, he is spending $6 million a day not to build a wall on this nation’s southern border with Mexico, leaving it defenseless against a mass invasion of Central Americans and Third World illegal aliens.
If it sounds impossible, or it seems like sheer madness, it is. But the madness, as Shakespeare wrote, has method in it.
The news is just more evidence that Biden is not “incompetent,” as some say. Or that his presidency is a “failure.” Everything Biden and his handlers do proves the opposite. They know what they are doing, and they’re doing it on purpose.
Ukraine’s “Needs”
On top of $350 million Biden sent to Ukraine last month, it now requests a whopping $10 billion, the letter from OMB Acting Director Shalanda Young to Pelosi says.
“We appreciate the Congress’ continued support for Ukraine funding, which has allowed the U.S. to provide over $1.4 billion in assistance to Ukraine since 2021,” Young wrote:
This request identifies an immediate need for $10.0 billion in additional humanitarian, security, and economic assistance for Ukraine and Central European partners due to Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked invasion. It also outlines a number of authorities needed to provide maximum flexibility in supporting Ukraine, our European allies and partners, and other emergent global needs.
Ukraine’s “needs,” such as they are, might be pressing. But so are the needs of the U.S. Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They need help stemming the invasion at the border with Mexico and can’t get it.
As illegals cross the border with not a care in the world, not building the border wall consumes $3 million a day.
Biden had been spending about $6 million every day in taxpayer money to not build the border wall. By July, Biden had spent $2 billion to not build the wall, with costs leveling out to about $3 million in taxpayer money wasted every day.
Last March, Breitbart divulged what Biden had done to spend $6 million a day for nothing after he signed an executive order to stop the wall.
“The expenditures are required for materials orders placed before the pause and expenses for the cost of equipment sitting idle,” Breitbart reported:
When the issuance of a stop work order causes a contractor to idle equipment, they are entitled to be compensated for rental expenses or costs of ownership.
Shortly after taking office, President Biden signed an executive order temporarily halting any further progress on the border wall so individual contracts could be evaluated. With the exception of “make-safe” activities at the worksites, construction projects immediately came to a standstill.
Stopping the wall, of course, told the world the borders are open and precipitated the mass invasion of more than two million illegals whom border agents apprehended or at ports of entry through the following 13 months.
Border Agents to Poland
Bad as the $10 billion is, at least it’s just money Biden is sending to Poland.
Last week, as The New American reported, the administration announced it would pull border agents off the job here and send them to Poland to help the country handle the Ukrainian refugees crossing that border.
That bad news surfaced after Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported that some 220,000 illegals slipped past border agents since October 1, the beginning of fiscal 2022.
Biden has released more than 260,000 since then as well.
