Fauci the Highest-paid Federal Employee, Makes More Than the President

Pharma Fauci is raking in the greens.

Of four million federal employees, Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is the highest-paid, with a record salary of $417,608 for 2019 — surpassing even the president’s $400,000 salary.

Fauci currently serves as chief medical advisor to the president. Should he continue in his current posts, he will make $2.5 million in salary from 2019 through 2024 — assuming he doesn’t get a raise during that time.

This huge paycheck comes even as reports surface about Fauci having doled out millions of dollars in National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, from which COVID-19 escaped into the general Chinese public, starting the pandemic.

Per a report from Fox’s The Next Revolution With Steve Hilton, Dr. Anthony Fauci continued gain-of-function research even after an Obama administration ban, ultimately funding a China-based study that “unlocked a highly specific doorway into the human body.” That’s the same pathway used by COVID-19.

According to the January 24 report, Fauci argued that “important information and insight can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory” in a Washington Post article:

His institute funded that first ferret study. At the time he co-wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post describing the research as a “risk worth taking”: “important information and insight can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory.” And shortly before the Obama Administration’s ban on gain of function research in 2014, Dr. Fauci commissioned this: it was a project to assess the risk of new Coronaviruses emerging from wild animals like bats. One of its stated aims was to see what viruses can infect animals and humans.

The millions of dollars in NIH grants went to the dangerous research of Dr. Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance, which conducted the studies together with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Hilton’s team noted that “after we reached out to NIH and Peter Daszak’s group for comment, this paper was materially taken off-line on Friday for a while. But we downloaded it weeks ago.”

“They then built various chimeras: genetically engineered new viruses, man-made in the lab. They infected human cells with them in the lab. And then they then showed that their man-made viruses could replicate as a functional virus. Here is the most important part: the genetic changes they made in the lab unlocked a highly specific doorway into the human body. The virus that causes Covid-19 uses that same exact doorway,” Hilton added.

Things have been going well with Fauci under the Biden administration. He was able to announce that thanks to the new president, the United States will walk back from President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the China-centric World Health Organization (WHO).

“I join my fellow representatives in thanking the World Health Organization for its role in leading the global public health response to this pandemic,” Fauci to a group of WHO bigwigs, even though it was the WHO that abetted China in minimizing the contagiousness risk of COVID-19 in the first place.

With his high paycheck and plenty of media adulation, Fauci probably can’t help hoping that the coronavirus pandemic that raised him to international stardom never ends. He has said that even with the vaccine, life won’t go back to normal until fall of this year.

The NIAID chief even failed to rule out “double-masking,” a growing trend of wearing two face masks at the same time, even for those who have received the vaccine.

“So if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it would likely be more effective and that’s the reason why you see people either double masking or doing a version of an N95,” Fauci said on NBC’s Today.

The White House medical advisor has said that working with Joe Biden is “liberating” compared to the time he spent with President Trump.

“The idea that you can get up here and talk about what you know, what the evidence and science is, and know that’s it — let the science speak — it is somewhat of a liberating feeling,” Fauci said.

If by “liberating” he means given greater freedom to attack Americans’ freedoms while supporting Communist China’s agenda, Fauci is right.
