In this exclusive interview with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman, veteran educator Rebecca Friedrichs, author of Standing Up to Goliath and founder of For Kids and Country, explains the role of Big Labor unions such as the National Education Association (NEA) and its state affiliates in destroying education in America–and thereby destroying America.
Friedrichs, who taught elementary students in public school for almost three decades, sued to ensure that she did not have to fund the unions. The battle went all the way to the Supreme Court, paving the way for teachers everywhere to leave and defund the unions.
