BLM Nominated for Peace Prize. “Systemic Racism” Nonsense Validated

It’s early yet, but we might have already witnessed the most embarrassing event of the year. A Norwegian leftist has nominated the angry and violent Black Lives Matter movement for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Though joined at the hip to the murderous revolutionaries of Antifa, the two of which have left one American city after another in flames, Petter Eide, a member of Norway’s parliament, thinks BLM has done wonders to fight “racial injustice.”

But BLM’s fight against “racial injustice” is built upon a false narrative about “systemic racism,” particularly with respect to the death of violent black criminals at the hands of police and others. Despite that truth, the group has raked in nearly a half-billion dollars retailing the false claims.

As well, it is openly Marxist and seeks to destroy the family.

“Tremendous Achievement”

Nonetheless, leave it to a Norwegian see something good in all that.

“I find that one of the key challenges we have seen in America, but also in Europe and Asia, is the kind of increasing conflict based on inequality,” Eide told the Guardian. “Black Lives Matter has become a very important worldwide movement to fight racial injustice.”

Of course, Eide sees no reason to worry about BLM’s mass violence.

“They have had a tremendous achievement in raising global awareness and consciousness about racial injustice,” Eide said.

Even better, Eide said “he didn’t want his nomination for Black Lives Matter to be seen as a comment on domestic US politics,” the Guardian reported:

And he dismissed criticism from rightwing voices that the group had been behind violence in US cities. “Studies have shown that most of the demonstrations organised by Black Lives Matter have been peaceful,” he said. “Of course there have been incidents, but most of them have been caused by the activities of either the police or counter-protestors.”

Citing data in September, the newspaper reported that “93% of Black Lives Matter demonstrations involved no serious harm to people or property.”

Not surprisingly, Eide cited the prizes that went to communist terror leader Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King, Jr. — known to have watched and laughed as a friend raped a woman — as good reason to nominate BLM:

“There is actually a tradition for doing this,” Eide said. “It’s a strong linkage between antiracism movements and peace, and a recognition that without this kind of justice, there will be no peace and stability in the society.”

Right.

BLM’s Lies

The Marxist movement opened its doors after George Zimmerman shot and killed black thug Trayvon Martin in self defense. But its narrative took off after the group planted the lie that Darren Wilson, a white policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, “murdered” black criminal Michael Brown as the “gentle giant” said “don’t shoot.”

That snowballed into “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.” Almost five years after the Obama Justice Department exonerated Wilson in 2015, top politicians continued spewing the BLM lie that he “murdered” the thief.

As late as last year, a leftist prosecutor in St. Louis tried to indict Wilson for murder but found he couldn’t do so.

Yet Obama’s probe showed that Brown, who robbed a convenience store earlier that day, attacked Wilson in his SUV, then fled. Wilson pursued. Brown, who outweighed Wilson by about 80 pounds, turned and charged Wilson like an angry bull, and Wilson fired in self defense. He never put his hands up or said “don’t shoot.”

The “systemic racism” lie grew even more after two more black criminals died at the hands of police in Minneapolis.

One was George Floyd, the “gentle giant” who died of a fentanyl overdose while police restrained him. That led to riots in Minneapolis and cemented another narrative in the public mind that began after the death of Eric Garner: “I Can’t Breathe.”

Floyd couldn’t breathe because fentanyl is a respiratory depressant.

A third case, which occasioned the riots in Kenosha, involved the shooting of sex-assault suspect Jacob Blake. He could have surrendered peacefully, but instead fought with police even after they tased him.

BLM pushed the lie that Blake was just an innocent fellow on a visit with his kids when police attacked for no reason. In fact, Kenosha’s prosecutor determined that Blake — wanted for felony sex assault — struggled with police, pulled a knife, and tried to escape with kids in the car.

That didn’t stop leftist Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and then Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden from saying the shooting was unjustified.

Another notable past nominee for the Nobel, as the Daily Mail reported, was Joseph Stalin, another popular “trained Marxist.”
