South African authorities must quit insulting Donald Trump and get to the negotiating table before doing any further harm to South Africa and its economy, warned United Independent Movement leader and former Mandela national security advisor Neil De Beer. De Beer, an Afrikaner who joined the ANC’s military wing and played a key role bringing down Apartheid, expressed grave concerns about the direction the African National Congress was taking the country. It is time for change, he said.
