The true yet not-so-beautiful story of Hunter Biden’s life thus far, the one the Biden family and the ruling classes would never want Americans to hear, will not be found in Hunter’s new memoir, Beautiful Things.

That account may explore many of the intimate, horrifying details of Hunter’s personal and family loss, as well as his journey into the “dark, bleak hole” of alcoholism and drug and porn addiction, but the reality of his nefarious business dealings in countries such as Ukraine, Russia, and China as the son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, will be fully exposed in the new movie My Son Hunter. The acclaimed filmmakers who brought us Obamagate, Gosnell, and Fracknation will illustrate how Hunter made huge profits from his father’s political and public life, and how “the Big Guy” used the prestige of his office to accrue wealth and power that far surpasses that of a lifelong congressman.

Married journalists, best-selling authors, film producers, and playwrights Ann McElhinney (Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer) and Phelim McAleer (FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers), creators of the nonprofit the Unreported Story Society and the Ann and Phelim Scoop, have recently reached their goal of $700,000 to begin production of My Son Hunter, starring English actor and London mayoral candidate Lawrence Fox as Hunter Biden.

As with all of McElhinney’s and McAleer’s films, the project has been a crowdfunded, grassroots effort, with donations sourced from a generous and engaged public. The production of My Son Hunter is just getting off the ground, and now it’s time to spread the word. “The truth needs to be told,” stated McAleer. “Hollywood is not making this movie.”

In a recent telephone interview with The New American, McAleer said My Son Hunter is “as equally about the Biden family corruption as it is about the media cover-up and suppression of the story of Hunter’s ‘laptop from hell.’” McAleer shared that, unlike the couple’s earlier works, this new film will not be a documentary but an “absurdist comedy; think Austin Powers meets King Lear meets House of Cards.”

McAleer compared their latest project with their 2018 drama Gosnell, which exposed the disturbing true story of the investigation and trial of abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell, whose 30-year killing spree the political and media establishments attempted to suppress, and nearly succeeded. McAleer noted that “Gosnell was about a very serious subject, while this [My Son Hunter] is entertaining and absurd but also about a very serious topic.”

Journalists With Integrity

Similar to McElhinney and McAleer’s previous films, which rely heavily on primary sources — the script for Obamagate was written word for word from text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page — My Son Hunter will be fact-based and heavily researched. The script is drawn verbatim from Senate reports, text messages, and e-mails, such as those between Hunter and his “business” associates stating then-Vice President Joe Biden was the “big guy getting ten percent.”

According to his memoir, Hunter survived days, sometimes months-long drug binges, in which he hosted drug dealers, who like an “ant-trail,” would file in and out of hotel rooms. Though the film will depict these vile misadventures, it really aims to expose the man who has lied about the existence of his own daughter (“who was born to a stripper“), and who has amassed hundreds of thousands of dollars as an “expert of corporate governance.” Additionally, it seems Hunter’s skills extend to teaching, as he has been recently scheduled to lecture at Tulane University on the subject of fake news, aka “media polarization.”

Immigrants from Ireland, McElhinney and McAleer have been warriors of preserving American freedom and justice. They have devoted their lives to exposing the deceit in issues at the forefront of American culture: abortion, the environment, the #MeToo movement, and the 2020 presidential election. Big Tech’s suppression of the story of Hunter’s laptop, which is most certainly one factor that hurt Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, was of huge interest to the filmmakers.

As part of their in-depth investigation into the laptop and the business dealings of the now-First Family, the duo has spoken to high-profile journalists, such as New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, who published the first major news story uncovering the discovery of the laptop, demonstrating the boundless privilege enjoyed by the Bidens; and Mark Hemingway, book editor at the Federalist, whose investigative reporting has raised many questions about the Bidens’ business affairs.

“The Big Guy”

While Hunter is a central figure of the film, the real focus is on “the Big Guy,” who, as McAleer explained, “taught his family the way to portray themselves as regular people while they live as billionaires,” and answer to no one (well, except Barack Obama). “There is a great contradiction in this president, who goes around railing about white privilege while his own son is being investigated for tax evasion; his own son is the epitome of privilege.”

In conversation with McElhinney and McAleer, Devine discussed her new book, Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide, due out in September, noting that “Hunter was making $83,000 a month fueling his crack addiction … and though Biden says he doesn’t know anything about Hunter’s business, that he never spoke to him about it, this kind of defied belief since Hunter was often on the plane with Joe going to various places.”

In another interview, journalist Hemingway reminded us that at the “tail end of the Obama years, Biden was made the point man to Ukraine policy. The Ukrainian gas company Burisma put Hunter on the board of its company…. The timing and connections were unusual; the payments were absurd! He [Hunter] did have experience on boards, but on [the boards of] nonprofits. Essentially, he [Hunter] was unqualified for this post. This was an obvious attempt to curry political favor.”

The mainstream media, “which today acts as a paramilitary,” said Devine, has remained remarkably loyal to President Biden, who has not yet had to face judgment from the American people. But the time is coming, thanks to intrepid journalists such as McElhinney and McAleer, who refuse to let the story go or give the activist media another win.

Filming is set to begin this summer in the Eastern European country of Serbia. “It’s the perfect place, an exotic location,” explained McAleer, befitting of Hunter’s perverse exploits.
